Catalina Islands:

Diving at its best

The Catalina Island chain is a series of rocky outcroppings located 5 miles, 8 km., from the Marina Flamingo. These islands are volcanic and sedimentary rising from a sandy bottom about 100 feet, 30.5 meters and are hosts to many species of marine life including: giant manta rays, sting rays, barracuda, sharks, moray eels, sea turtles and a variety of unique schooling tropical fish.

We offer daily two-tank, two location dives. In order to provide professional service, we specialize in small groups of 1 - 5 people, however we can accommodate larger groups.

Our experienced instructors will accompany you to any of 35 dive sites. Visibility can vary from 20 to 80 feet on the same day and even the same dive. This is due to plankton and other marine organisms in the warm (75-85 degree), nutrient rich, tropical water. Our dives will be around volcanic rock formations at 60 to 70 foot depths.

We offer all certification levels from open water diver to instructor.

Costa Rica Diving is the only PDIC-INSTRUCTOR TRAINING and CERTIFICATION CENTER in Costa Rica.
